The transformation of an existing industrial unit into two distinctive four-bedroom family homes celebrates adaptive reuse and contextual design.

Appointed following planning approval by a previous architect, PFG Design evolved the scheme from planning drawings through to detailed construction information and delivery. Our role focused on refining the architectural language, resolving technical complexities, and ensuring the original vision translated seamlessly into a robust and buildable solution.

The material palette reflects the building’s industrial heritage while responding sensitively to the surrounding domestic scale. Generous volumes and carefully positioned openings introduce natural light, creating calm, adaptable family spaces within the retained structure.

The result is a confident and carefully executed conversion — honouring the building’s origins while establishing a refined new residential identity.
